Yes, they are related, probably because you had the xmms use flag enabled, which is now masked along with xmms. emerge -C xmms # remove xmms from your system emerge --newuse world # rebuild anything that used xmms revdep-rebuild # rebuild anything still broken by removing xmms If you *really* want to keep xmms, you can copy the masked packages to a local overlay and unmask them in package.unmask. -Richard --=20 gentoo-amd64@gentoo.org mailing list
