[gentoo-amd64] emerge wine-0.9.53 on AMD64?

Hi,
   I'm wondering what anyone thinks my chances are of emerging the
latest Wine (0.9.53) and having it work well enough for Netflix to
play movies inside of Internet Explorer on an AMD64 machine? Is that
just wishful thinking?

  How can I unmask 0.9.53? It's showing up in eix as orange. Something
in the keyword file I'm not grasping? I've got ~amd64 ~*

   man eix suggests this:

       ~3.3.5.20050130
              The version would be "masked by ~keyword".

Isn't that what I have above?

   If this is known not to work I won't bother but I've seem some
forum posts about many games now working better with straight Wine
than Cedega so I thought I might give movies a try since Netflix has
gone to unlimited online watching as of this week and I don't want to
boot into Windows just do that.
