I updated to the latest firefox-bin and tried it out yesterday and had
it bomb with this error:
/opt/firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Revdep-rebuild didn't fix it, so what's the deal?

probably: you made a gcc update and there are stale libstdc++.so.5.la files
somewhere.
fix_libtool_files.sh might help. And looking for
stale /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/VERSION/ dirs.
