In my case, the plugin I need is pulse (delivered with the alsa-plugins
package), but it's true of all the plugins delivered with alsa-plugins).
rrocca@taichi ~ $ qlist alsa-plugins | grep pulse
/usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_ctl_pulse.la
/usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_ctl_pulse.so
/usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.la
/usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so
/usr/share/doc/alsa-plugins-1.0.14/README-pulse
rrocca@taichi ~ $ qlist emul-linux-x86-soundlibs | grep pulse
