I see you're using a 2.6.22 kernel. Something has fundamentally changed within that kernel so that madwifi-ng-0.9.3* will no longer build. I've had success by stepping outside portage and installing from the latest madwifi svn, but it's on mactel hardware, and there I'm relying heavily on overlays and things I've manually installed. My advice is to either go back to a 2.6.21 kernel for awhile, or use the madwifi subversion repository. - -- Jeffrey Gardner Gentoo Developer Public PGP Key ID: 4A5D8F23 hkp://pgpkeys.mit.edu -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGl748iR2KxEpdjyMRAq8VAJoCgcIKdkCyWnDHz2qE5j0uly6nvQCfQC9C LeSqajvqMTYH8LD+sSgzi1w= =DwyE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-amd64@gentoo.org mailing list
