Probably not.  This page displays incorrectly on sparc with both opera and
firefox.  sparc does not support flash at all.  (For me, on all systems, both
forefox and opera give the white splotch.)

On both amd64 and sparc, dillo can display this URL, but it complains about:
HTTP warning: Content-Type 'text/html' doesn't match the real data.

Seems javascript-related. I'm using the noscript firefox extension, and 
loading the page with javascript disabled does not show the splotch. 
Enabling javascript produces the splotch, apparently a box containing a 
global menu in the upper side, which I think was supposed to be merged 
into the page without covering the rest, but for some reason it doesn't.

You should keep in mind that the noscript extension also disables flash animations. Then the
noscript evidence alone is not enough to agree with your assertion. However, you are right: it
is JavaScript-related, for the flash reference is included in a JavaScript command of this
particular webpage.
