I've finally migrated away from xmms and have found that audacious
ROCKS! However, I've got an issue with the docklet. I set it up in
Preferences so I can control it from the system tray, but whenever I
shut down and restart, I have to set it up in Preferences again. Is
anyone else seeing this? How can I fix it?

One problem I found in Audacious is that aparently it doesn't save
configuration if you don't
close it by itself. If I close it by exiting window manager, I lost
the last playlist (If I changed it).
Maybe your problem is related to this? Try to set the preference and
close audacious...

Are either of you able to get Audacious to pull CD info from the Internet?
No luck with that here.

I rarely listen Audio CD im my computer. So I don't use this feature.
But I see Audacious use
freedb as default. I'm not sure about this, but I think I've seen
posts about recent problems
with this CDDB server. I'm having problems with cddb_query:
cddb_query search Mezzanine -s freedb.freedb.org
error: server error
libcddb: error: server error
Have you tried another CDDB server?

I do not even see a location for these settings to be done.

In Preferences -> Plugins -> Audio CD Plugin -> Preferences
You can access the audacious preferences in several ways, e.g.: right-
click on the
little title bar.
And other question: have you installed
media-plugins/audacious-plugins
???

Thanks, missed that option, that did the trick, I am new to Audacious.
No I have not installed plugins yet, will unmask then emerge it.

I noticed that the docklet often starts on top of another docklet.
