Hello,
I recently installed Gentoo amd64 2006.0 on my Dell's PowerEdge 1950 server.
The server configuration:
Dual Xeon 3.0 Gh
4 GB RAM
2 x Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5708 Gigabit Ethernet
I got an error "no IPv6 routers present problem". I checked log 'messages'
and 'dmegs', the driver for the network cards loaded OK.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
Thank you,
Phuoc Diec.

Are you running IPv6 on your network? Are you trying to use this server
as a router? Are you trying to install or remove IPv6?

Hello,
I don't have IPv6 router and don't plan to use one anytime soon. My network
is IPv4 and I just want to use IPv4 only. I am just trying to remove IPv6
from my server. I have put "-ipv6" in my USE when compiling the kernel and
it did not help.
Thank you,
Phuoc Diec.
