It failed, so I booted onto cd, remounted boot and / Then chrooted. I altered grub.conf to fix a typo. reran grub-install. Rebooted. It still fails. I noticed I have no '/linuxrc'. On / or /boot, how can I generate this. Do I need to involve 'proc'? Thanks. Gavin. -- gentoo-amd64@gentoo.org mailing list
