It wouldn't hurt to put in your emerge info details, and mention the package and version that you think works fine. An AT or dev will check it out and if it meets the criteria for being made stable it will get taken care of - generally fairly quickly. Grace sounds like one of the more obscure packages out there, so we're always happy to hear from somebody who uses it extensively.
