Subject: [gentoo-amd64] amarok not starting after various updates.
Date: Sat, 22 May 2010 14:04:14 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <201005221404.14793.gentoo@appjaws.plus.com> (raw)
When I try and start amarok I get the splash screen but nothing else happens.
The following is the output from a terminal:-
~/ > amarok
InnoDB: The InnoDB memory heap is disabled
InnoDB: use atomic builtins.
InnoDB: The log sequence number in ibdata files does not match
InnoDB: the log sequence number in the ib_logfiles!

InnoDB: Starting crash recovery.
InnoDB: Reading tablespace information from the .ibd files...

Calling appendChild() on a null node does nothing.

Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Did not receive a
reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply,
the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired,
or the network connection was broken." "
I think this has to do with dbus and have reinstalled it but no effect. Also if
I do ~/ > /etc/init.d/dbus restart
