It is not a kde4-only bug (but it is fixed in 4.2-svn). Some people have the
problem with 3.5.10. Maybe (just maybe) some of the kdelibs patches are
causing this. Which versions of kdelibs and konqueror do you have installed?
Maybe an update/downgrade might solve your problem?
