[gentoo-amd64] Konqueror crash using ebay

Hello again all,
For the last few days  I have noticed that I no longer have the little sub 
menues displayed when I hover the mouse over an item which should the show a 
menue.
Also konqueror crashes everytime I try and look at items I am watching in 
ebay. I have included the backtrace below, I have reinstalled konqueror, 
kdelibs and checked the *.so's listed and reinstalled them.
I am now at a loss.

Thanks for your response but this is not kde4. I am using konqueror 3.5.9 
(using kde 3.5.9)
I just can't work out which of the recent updates has caused this, upto a few 
days ago all was working well.
Any other ideas?

read again ;)

It is not a kde4-only bug (but it is fixed in 4.2-svn). Some people have the 
problem with 3.5.10. Maybe (just maybe) some of the kdelibs patches are 
causing this. Which versions of kdelibs and konqueror do you have installed?

Maybe an update/downgrade might solve your problem?

I have kdelibs 3.5.9-r4 and konqueror 3.5.9 installed.
I have just tried a downgrade to kdelibs 3.5.9-r3 but that made no difference.
I could downgrade to kdelibs 3.5.8 to see if that would solve the problem but 
would I have to downgrade all of kde?

I wouldn't downgrade below 5.9. But before continuing I would quickpgk all 
installed kde packages and then upgrade to 3.5.10.
