Subject: [gentoo-amd64] gnome and audio cd
Date: Sun, 11 May 2008 12:51:48 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080511125148.1df4f721@wanadoo.fr> (raw)
Hi,
I wanted to submit a bug, but before, just want to know if I
misconfigured something.
Nor gnome-cd, soundjuicer or rhythmbox can play any audio cd.
But kscd plays them well. So I thought that gstreamer was in fault.
if I enter
gst-launch-0.10 cdparanoiasrc
I get this :
Définition du pipeline à PAUSED...
ERREUR : le pipeline refuse de se mettre en pause.
ERREUR : de l'élément /pipeline0/cdparanoiasrc0 : This CD has no audio
tracks Information de débogage supplémentaire :
gstcddabasesrc.c(1385): gst_cdda_base_src_start
(): /pipeline0/cdparanoiasrc0 Définition du pipeline à NULL...
Libération du pipeline (FREE)...
So I think I'm not wrong about gstreamer.
gstreamer-0.10.19 and gst-plugins-cdparanoia-0.10.17
are installed on my computer.
I found things about this message "CD has no audio tracks" on
google, but they are pretty old and don't look like my problem.
I suppose I'm not the only one to have this difficulty or I made
something bad.
I know I could use kscd, but I don't like it... and prefer gnome
generally.
Any idea ?
Thanks.
David.
