Don=E2=80=99t get what I=E2=80=99ve got, it sucks! :) I got mine when it was already obsolete because at the time I needed SCSI to go with my obsolete computer, and this scanner just happened also to have USB. Using it with SCSI now would be much messier, though perhaps would work better. I was replacing another, earlier UMAX scanner that sucked so powerfully that the computer room had no air left in it. --=20 Barry.SCHWARTZ =C4=89e chemoelectric punkto org http://chemoelectric.org Free stuff / Senpagaj varoj: http://crudfactory.com 'Democracies don't war; democracies are peaceful countries.' - Bush (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/12/20051219-2.html) --BwCQnh7xodEAoBMC Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFF7q3TBNGXDWV0vIMRApbBAJ9OU5rmaAbhxAJCPhcKsHZo1MtXlwCdGGmi Oy4VWzWaqNzpZsHRPoP4DDo= =VQot -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --BwCQnh7xodEAoBMC-- -- gentoo-amd64@gentoo.org mailing list
