To quote the xorg.conf man page
MODULE SECTION
[...]
Example: the extmod module (which contains a miscellaneous group
of server extensions) can be loaded, with the XFree86-DGA extension
disabled by using the following entry:
SubSection "extmod"
Option "omit XFree86-DGA"
EndSubSection
The same is true for xfree86.
