Hello all,
Sometime ago I stopped receiving elog mail messages.
The error in the log is:-

sendmail: RCPT TO:<my email address> (451 Temporary local problem - please try 
later)
!!! PORTAGE_ELOG_COMMAND failed with exitcode 1

This is the make.conf entries

PORTAGE_ELOG_CLASSES="warn error log"
PORTAGE_ELOG_SYSTEM="save custom syslog"
PORTAGE_ELOG_COMMAND="/usr/local/bin/portage-elog-command.sh 
paul@appjaws.plus.com elog@appjaws.plus.com '\${PACKAGE}' '\${LOGFILE}'"

Any ideas?

That would seem to be a sendmail error.  If no one has a clue here (I 
don't, I just use kmail and my ISP's mail, not running anything local), 
I'd suggest trying one of the other groups/lists.  You can of course try 
user, but that list has too high a volume for some users (myself 
included) to follow.  The servers group/list would be the logical place, 
since it seems to be a server issue.  I don't subscribe to it however so 
don't know what it's like, but if it's anything like the desktop group, 
you're chances of finding someone who knows the solution there should be 
pretty high.
