As usual I try to boot a mini x86_64 gentoo installcd like: gentoo-nofb root=/dev/hda2 noinitrd This works well with 2005.0 (and the older images I have tried, even when I was running x86) but does not with 2005.1. It seems to ignore "noinitrd" parameter and still load it and continue the normal cd booting sequence instead of mounting my hdd partition as root after the kernel boot :( Any hints ?
