Hi,

I'm using cifs to mount samba-shares and recently noticed that I can't really
unmount the shares. I can unmount them, they will be away but listed in the
mtab forever. I'm mounting/unmounting the shares as a normal user like

mount.cifs //server/share /local_dir

and unmount with

umount.cifs /local_dir

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Rgds

Did you just send that message like 5 times?

I got your message a couple of times, but I think that's the fault of my
email program.
Because the message occurs only once on the server.
