I did nothing when I updated grub - and it just worked fine.... -- gentoo-amd64@lists.gentoo.org mailing list you have left the old version in use. to fully update grub not only you need to update it via portage but also you should reinstall the bootloader. maybe portage does it itself but i'm not sure about this last affirmation. confirm that the last affirmation is true dott. ing. beso
