All, I am working on this, but do not have it committed yet. One thing
I want to discuss is which run level we want to use to start brltty? Do
we want to put it in the boot or default runlevel?
Thanks,

I don't know what that means, but brltty should be started as early as
possible.

Hiya,
I think boot might be a good option, as it would let the script start before
a lot of other programs. I'd at least be able to read a majority of the
messages, even if it wouldn't be speaking as yet.
Thanks much,
Zack.
