Disd you have to do anything to get espeakup running at boot or did you just type espeakup as root? Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Jude DaShiell <jdashiel@panix.com> Sent: Friday, April 14, 2023 6:19 PM To: gentoo-accessibility@lists.gentoo.org Subject: Re: [gentoo-accessibility] Questions about using install media as a blind user. 1) The minimal image includes espeak I never got as far as orca though. Orca may be something you need to emerge once you get a console installation running. -- Jude <jdashiel at panix dot com> "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. There are also minimal images but not sure if these will work. Anyway, The install guide does not mention the accessibility team here all though there is info on the web site which is where I found this list. I have not seen a message come through here. So hopefully My message will come through. Any way if there is any info I might have missed someware I will be greatful. Thanks for the help. BTW, I think that accessibility should be mentioned in the guide for people who need it. I will certainly give the live image a try and see what happens. I will be installing to a VM. > > Matthew > > > >
