Same here, I refer to an older commit since i accidentally created a
local branch called "origin/master".

However, the v235-812-gb4f9f2a62 output comes from "git describe".
If you are not on a tag, you will give you the tag name suffixed with
the hash for the commit you are on.

So, the short hash is b4f9f2a62 (omit the 'g').
The long hash is b4f9f2a62fd003a30a304a25b3b6ffc4048d0f24.

But we should go for a newer release.
