Subject: [gentoo-user] Installation and reinstallation of the same binary packages

Hello everybody

On one of my disks, I have a Gentoo installation where, for testing, I
switched to binary packages :
emerge -auvDN --getbinpkgonly --with-bdeps=y --binpkg-respect-use=y
--keep-going world.
Now, with every emerge world, I am being asked to compile and reinstall the
same binaries again.

[binary   R    ] dev-lang/spidermonkey-115.16.0-r1-16:115::gentoo  USE="jit
-clang -debug -lto -test" LLVM_SLOT="18" 0 KiB
[binary   R    ] sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-6.12.16-1:6.12.16::gentoo
 USE="-build -experimental -symlink" 0 KiB

Where could this be coming from? Thank you for your responses.

Regards,

--
Jacques
