Here is all of the boot parameters I used in order:
gentoo nodmraid nogpm nofirewire nokeymap ide=nodma doscsi dousb slowusb
speakup.synth=soft

This is directly from my gentoo notes which I preserved.
I could probably leave the ide stuff out since this is now on nvme for the
most part.
