Hey all,

if we started 2023 with a BANG, the end of it doesn't look any less
satisfactory. Our latest recruit is Petr Vaněk from the Czech Republic,
whom you might recognize from contributing to other OSS projects such as
yt-dlp, iproute2 and... the linux kernel. Here's how Petr introduces
himself:

"I have been a devoted Gentoo user since 2009, which I initially picked
up during my university studies. I currently work for a small company,
excello.cz, which graciously allows me to contribute to open-source from
time to time. I live in Prague, capital of Czechia with my wife and
children. I have a passion for travel and particularly enjoy
long-distance walks. I am also a craft beer enthusiast and have hopes of
owning a small brewery in the future :)"

First of all kudos to Excello for courteously supporting OSS! Secondly
nice to see me and Petr have other common hobbies outside Gentoo. Those
long-distance walks while Chromium is compiling... nah, I'm talking
beer! If Czech was already worth visiting due to its beer, a local
brewery PRESUMABLY ran by Gentoo makes that cherry on top. Now I wonder
what the official Gentoo flavor will be... slowly brewed of course. Hope
we'll get to see (and taste!) that ;)

Please give Petr a warm welcome, and get in queue to get a cold sample
in return!
