Thanks, I'll try that next time that machine is up.

I'm not sure, but I think this may have started when I installed ksnip
from the guru overlay:

  https://gpo.zugaina.org/x11-misc/ksnip

It has Qt 5 deps (and there might not be any other Qt apps on that
machine).  But, it's Qt 6 stuff that keeps getting
installed/uninstalled. So that doesn't really make sense either.
